Hello! My name is Stacie Stark, aka the Whisker Whisperer, and I’m the sole owner and operator of My Critter Companion. I had a long career in healthcare recruiting, and then decided it was time to pursue my lifelong passion – sharing my love for animals the best way I can – by spreading it to you and your pet family when you can’t be home.
I’ve owned cats and dogs nearly my entire life – that’s over 50 years of pet experience. My current pet family (5 cats + 1 dog are purrfect for me) and I live on a hobby farm with different types of livestock. I have cared for many domestic animals, from hooved feet to webbed feet, from furry to fins: goats, cows, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea hens, and rabbits too. I have great appreciation and compassion for all animals, there’s plenty more room in my heart for your pets. I love what I do, and I operate full time.

Community Involvement and Volunteer Service
I have a long history of benevolence and goodwill towards my fellow creatures. Since 1982 I have volunteered my skills and influenced community groups with my personal ethics to improve the quality of programs. Some examples of the practical work I contributed are feeding, cleaning, and administering medications to shelter animals. I have also provided time and dedication towards the following organizations:
